DeKalb county is known for its rich heritage and recognizable landmarks. Not only is it home to Zoo Atlanta, it is also home to Stone Mountain which is the famous mountain that Martin Luther King Jr. mentions in his “I HAVE A DREAM” speech. DeKalb started out as an agrarian community but is now today major suburbs, focused on renewable energy solutions, protecting and restoring natural resources and reducing our carbon footprint.
